All our villas can be transformed into your dream event space. Below are some examples of set ups at each villa to give you a visual, but remember florals, lighting and decor are always customized to the couple’s vision.
ORCHID BAY & ORCHID BAY BEACH
Most of our villas are located inside the gated community of Orchid Bay. There are nine private, luxury estates overlooking the ocean. Each one is privately owned and operated and functions basically like your own tropical boutique hotel.
Also inside Orchid Bay are two beaches. They are both beautiful, but they are very different. One is large, has plenty of trees and shade, is about 0.5km long and perfect for a wedding ceremony and events. There are many different spots on the beach that provide a lovely backdrop from all angles.
We frequently host the ceremony, cocktail hour, formal dinners, beach bonfires and parties of all kinds on the large beach, and villa can host an event here. Below are some examples of wedding ceremony set ups on the beach, but remember each wedding is completely customized. No two events are ever the same and our planners create each one individually based on vision and budget. Three large event villas sit atop this beach and have direct access: Tres Amarras, Flor de Cabrera, Sunrise Villa. There are also two smaller villas atop this beach (3 & 4 bedrooms) great for extra sleeping space, but events are not allowed.
The second beach inside Orchid Bay has a walking path to Casa Kimball, Castillo Del Mar, Blue Orchid and Vena Del Mar. This is a small tropical beach great for hanging out, photos, a bonfire or small party, but it is not recommended for wedding ceremony or cocktail hour unless it is a very small group.

There are multiple options for ceremony spot:
1) the beach at the spot of your liking
2) up at the villa under the almond tree with the ocean in the background
3) undercover in the atrium at the villa
Wedding dinner and reception is typically done up at the villa, partially under cover and partially by the pool. Depending on # of guests the wedding planner will make suggestions.

Walking path to small Orchid Bay Beach. Great for a bonfire party, but not necessarily big enough for a wedding ceremony set up. Large Orchid Bay Beach is a 5 minute walk or 1 minute taxi shuttle ride, and you can have a party or the ceremony there if you want to do a beach event.
While there are multiple options for the wedding, most couple use the built in ceremony platform, and then have cocktail hour and reception around the pool and at the main villa. We have also had couples cover the pool and do the dinner and reception on top of it in between the palms. Again, everything is customizable and we have done many different types of set ups.

2) in the villa courtyard
3) in the villa lawn overlooking the ocean (for small groups)
Wedding dinner and reception is typically done up at the villa, partially under cover and partially by the pool. The game room and bar lead right out to the pool deck, so it is perfect for a party!

There is a large garden perfect for a ceremony by the ocean. You can do minimal set up and just use the grass, or do a whole stage….up to you! Dinner and reception are by the villa and around the pool.

1) the beach at the spot of your liking
2) up at the villa in the grassy nook overlooking the beach (25 people max)
Wedding dinner and reception is typically done up at the villa, under cover in the common area or around the pool. The design for this villa highly depends on the # of guests. The fewer the guests, the more options for ceremony and reception spaces.

The yard has multiple tiers, so depending on your vision we typically use all the different areas. One garden area for the ceremony, cocktail hour by the pool and then the garden for the dinner and reception.

The yard has multiple areas and an empty lot next door to build a reception space, so depending on your vision we typically use all the different areas. Ceremony by the ocean, cocktail hour by the pool & villa, and then the garden for the dinner and reception.
